Client: Wasioja Heritage Partnership (Dodge County)
Wasioja Historic District

Wasioja is a southeastern Minnesota ghost town. Once a spirited, fast-growing settlement, the town couldn’t withstand the external forces that pushed back against its ambitions. Six limestone buildings remain, which together tell a story about Wasioja’s past. We worked with the heritage partnership of Dakota County Parks and Dakota County Historical Society to create a blueprint for creating a historic destination.
