Sometime small is all you need.
The Charles Burwell House in Minnetonka highlights the life and role of this early milling family. Bluestem Heritage Group created this small display about Loring, a privileged young man at the turn of the twentieth century. Loring grew up in the house, earned a degree at the newly formed engineering school at the University of Minnesota, and went on to a career in industrial engineering.
Bluestem Heritage used historic artifacts and labels to tell the story of Loring and the history of mechanical engineering at the turn of the century.
